Have questions before getting started? Here are answers to some of the questions patients commonly have about working with Towerlight Health and Wellness.
Towerlight Health and Wellness provides outpatient psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive mental health care, and care coordination when clinically appropriate. Therapy services are also being added as the practice grows.
Towerlight Health and Wellness works with patients ages 16 to 64 who are physically located in Massachusetts at the time of their appointment. The practice may not be the right fit for every concern, and a different setting may be recommended if it would be safer or more appropriate.
Yes. Appointments are offered through secure telehealth. Patients must be physically located in Massachusetts during the appointment.
Towerlight Health and Wellness is in the process of adding therapy services and is currently compiling a therapy waitlist. If you are interested in therapy, you may contact the practice to ask about being added to the waitlist.
The first appointment is a psychiatric evaluation. Your provider will review your symptoms, history, current medications, prior treatment, safety concerns, and goals for care. This helps determine what treatment options may be appropriate.
Not always. Medication decisions depend on your symptoms, history, current medications, safety considerations, prior records, and whether more information is needed. If medication is appropriate, your provider will review options with you.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled based on your treatment needs. If symptoms are stable and no medication changes are needed, visits are usually every 1 to 3 months. If symptoms worsen, treatment changes are needed, or a higher level of support may be safer, more frequent follow-up or referral to a higher level of care may be recommended.
Please request refills well before you run out of medication. Refill requests should be sent through the patient portal when possible. Some medications require a recent appointment before they can be refilled safely.
For non-urgent clinical questions, please use the patient portal. For scheduling, billing, records, or general questions, please contact the practice using the information on the Contact Us page. If you are experiencing an emergency or immediate safety concern, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
