Lab Orders:
Towerlight Health and Wellness sends lab orders electronically to Quest Diagnostics by default.

Using a Lab Other Than Quest:
If you would like to use a different lab, please first confirm that the lab accepts orders from providers outside of its own network. You will also need to provide our practice with the lab’s fax number so we can send the order.

Fasting Labs:
If your provider orders fasting labs, please follow the fasting instructions given by your provider or the lab. In general, this means no food or drinks other than water before the blood draw, unless you were told otherwise. Please continue taking medications as prescribed unless your provider gives different instructions.

Lithium or Depakote Levels:
For lithium or valproic acid/Depakote serum levels, timing matters. Please follow your provider’s instructions about when to complete the lab in relation to your last dose. If you are unsure, ask before going to the lab.

Questions About Lab Instructions:
For questions about lab orders or lab instructions, please message your provider through the patient portal or call the practice using the information on the Contact Us page.

Requesting Lab Results:
To request a copy of your lab results, please contact the practice by phone and through the patient portal. Include your full name, date of birth, date of the lab draw, and how you would like the results sent. If leaving a voicemail, please include this information in your message.

Results may be sent through the patient portal, by postal mail, by fax, or by secure encrypted email. If you request secure email delivery, you will receive a secure message and will need to sign in using a Gmail or Microsoft email account to open and download the encrypted file to your device.
